Frequently Asked Questions
Therapists often search Google or ask AI the same questions when it comes to building a website. This page addresses the most common concerns; from getting started to payment and what it’s like to work together.
GETTING STARTED
-
Yes. A website is an owned business asset that gives potential clients a clear place to understand your work, even if referrals are currently steady.
-
Once you’re offering services independently and want visibility beyond directories or word-of-mouth, it’s time.
-
That’s common. Website in a Week is designed to help clarify the language before the site is built.
-
Yes. This service is done-for-you, with guidance so you can manage updates afterward without technical overwhelm.
-
Directories can supplement referrals, but your website gives you control over how your work is presented.
-
At minimum: Home, About, Services, and Contact. Website in a Week includes these and additional supporting pages.
ABOUT THE PROCESS

-
One consolidated round of edits is included to keep the process efficient.
-

PAYMENT
-
The investment for Website in a Week is $1,500.
-
Payment is split into three installments due at key points in the process.
-
The first payment is due at booking, the second before draft delivery, and the final payment before launch.
-
This is a one-time project-based service.
-
To launch your website, you need to purchase a Squarespace subscription. This cost is paid directly to Squarespace and not included in the Website in a Week price.
I recommend the Core plan and the cost is $276/annually or $36/monthly. Because I am a Squarespace Gold Circle Member, you will receive 20% off your first year if you choose an annual plan.
You will also need to purchase a domain (if you do not already have one) and the cost varies (depends on availability of domain name. However, the average cost is nominal, ranging from approx $14 - $20.
-
Details are outlined in the service agreement provided during the free consult call and before booking.
